Overall, we are very happy with the experience of purchasing our new house and have been telling our friends to consider purchasing from Shea Homes in our community. The process of building a home can be very stressful and overwhelming but the folks at Shea homes made my experience very smooth. From the sales team to the construction team , every single aspect of buying from Shea homes was great. Even after closing, the construction manager continues to check in with me on any issues or questions I have.

They would not even give me a rough estimate of the timeline which made finding a temporary rental extremely challenging. I understand the COVID delays and that they are very real. But communication is better than no communication. Having said all that, I do love my house and have no regrets choosing Shea. Our builder rep kept us informed and up to date even during the pandemic as our home progressed.
From signing contract to closing the home took 13 months to complete. Issue found during construction and walk through was not fixed prior to move in. Dry wall issues are being delayed repairs for one year. Irrigation system is tied into other houses and over watering of lawn has occurred for two months.
Olivia who helped us through all the time from showing us the various styles offered to moving in was a wonderful help. When you choose Shea to build your home, you are getting so much more than just a home construction company. The property is convenient to supermarkets, major retail stores, banks, restaurants and commercial services five to 15 minutes away.

Warranties are amazing, every small detail found after moving in was handled promptly.

If she wasn’t able to answer the phone when I called, she called back in a timely manner. OK with most issues concerning the Model house we bought. Having trouble with TESLA over solar panel exchange from SHEA to our own account. 24-hour emergency care and other medical services are available less than 15 minutes away from the community at Munroe Regional Medical Center and Ocala Regional Medical Center in Ocala. We really appreciated his responsiveness and patience as he has been very busy with so many houses closing at the same time. We were also very impressed by the technical competence of the window installation team. They were able to quickly identify the problem and fix it in a few minutes.
